Seems like every time you check out a rap battle on YouTube there is a 3/1 ratio, for every 3 battles you watch.....1 breaks out in to a fight. Now more than ever the rappers wanna show dominance instead of intelligence.
Two rappers battle....one goes too far....that or the other one is a bit on the sensitive side...next thing you know a rap battle turns in to a fist fight. What the hell happened to the cypher!??
Why is it rappers always have to be the king...the hardest out...the best...? How many times have you heard of rock groups fighting their own...? It bugs me because there are a large group of people against hip hop that sit back, watch, and laugh as we kill ourselves over meaningless bullshit. If we don't grow up....we may never get to grow at all. Think about it.

Rap battles turn bad because people have pride. everyone wants to be the king at battling but half the time cant do music for shit, if they focused more on the art than being the toughest on their block then maybe we would have some music to listen to!
ReplyDelete@DS....TRUTH!!! I hate to say its a waste of time but what do you get out of it? I only know a few people that rap battle and are successful in the industry, but they were doing music BEFORE rap battles!
